ONE AFRICA, ONE VOICE: HON. TAIWO OLUGA IN SOUTH AFRICA FOR THE PAN AFRICAN PARLIAMENT COMMITTEE SUMMIT

The Honourable Member of the House of Representatives representing Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency, State of Osun, Hon. Taiwo Olukemi Oluga is currently in South Africa for the Pan African Parliament Committee Summit, as she is one of the members of the Pan African Parliament, and the only female out of the three members of Pan Africa Parliament.

The theme of the African Union for this year 2019 is “The Year of Refugees, Returnees and Internally Displaced Persons: Pan-African Parliaments Contribution towards Finding Durable Solutions to Forced Displacement in Africa”, is a clear commitment to effectively address the issue of refugees, returnees and internally displaced persons in Africa.

Recalling the final communiqué from its workshops on this year’s theme, Pan African Parliament’s contribution towards finding durable solutions to forced displacement in Africa was held during the March 2019 Committees’ in Midrand, South Africa and in Tunis, Tunisia.
